Payment Terms and Conditions

  • All fees as advertised are flat rates - there are no concessions.

  • Full fees must be paid at the time of booking, irrespective of the number of enrollees or number of series nominated before an application can be processed and placement details notified.

  • Fees should be paid online through PayPal only.

Changes to Booking Arrangements

  • Should changed family circumstances require a change in Series Dates or Lesson Times, Southern Cross-Swimstruct requires the notification be made at least seven days before the commencement of a particular series.

Cancellation of Bookings

  • In the event of a family needing to cancel their booking, notification should be made at least seven days prior to the commencement of the first series in the booking. In this situation, full fees, less a 5% processing levy, PayPal bank charges (where applicable) will be returned to the applicant.

 Make Up Lessons

  • Southern Cross-Swimstruct offers make up classes for illness or injury ONLY.
  • Classes missed through holidays, social, family, sporting or inclement weather reasons will not be made good.
  • Medical certificates stating the number of days the child is unable to participate in the Southern Cross-Swimstruct program must be produced if make-up lessons are to be arranged.
  • Make up lessons are arranged at times and dates mutually suitable to both parent and SOUTHERN CROSS-SWIMSTRUCT.

Weather Conditions and Classes

  • Classes are conducted under almost all conditions and children are expected to attend classes no matter how inclement the weather may be. In such circumstances, classes are modified to suit the circumstances.
  • On very rare occasions (four times in the last 46 years) where electrical storms have occurred, classes have been cancelled. In this event, a decision to cancel classes will be made poolside and parents notified accordingly. Classes cancelled for this reason cannot be made good, nor fees refunded.
